Yeth Thar has always been interested in effective sound. In 2006, he
graduated from the University of Arts London for a BA Sound Arts &
Design course - A study which allowed him to understand sonic theory and
engage or experiment in everything from foley design to field recording
to original composition.
Even prior
to this however, he was a prolific artist in his own right recording
music for local exposure. He has since produced work as a sound
engineer, scored independent film and performed live with his own sound
design in theatre performances.
More
recently, he has released a plethora of well-produced electronic music
primarily geared towards touching melody and rhythmic experimentation.
Growing up he was heavily influenced by the Dancehall music of Jamaica
and later the genre of Electronica/IDM and Folk - all of which are
evident in many of his compositions.
He
is respected by his immediate peers but hopes to branch out and reach a
wider audience promising many more different and creative contributions
to music.
